Samuel Hahnemann Associates & Research Centre (SHARC) laid foundation in the year 1996 as a nonprofit charitable organization. SHARC perceives development of the grass root community as a centered process of empowerment of the poor and marginalized based rural community. Our organization always endeavored to address the needs of the rural poor for the past 25 years.
SHARC emerged as a service provider for empowerment and leadership development at micro and macro level, principally training for poor, asset less and mainly illiterate women to improve their skills as a creative asset tools by using their knowledge of the markets they operate in, so as to ensure long-term returns in fifteen backward districts of Jharkhand, namely, Hazaribagh, Chatra, Godda, East Singhbhum, Saraikella-Kharsanwan, Ranchi, Simdega, Bokaro, Dumka, Lohardaga, Dhanbad, Latehar, Giridih, Garhwa, and Sahibganj. It’s recognition as a specialized women empowerment VOs, on this date. SHARC works towards empowerment of single women for their betterment, till June 21, 28526 Single women join their hands and organize them to raise voice against violence on women in 35 blocks of 15 districts of Jharkhand.
From beginning SHARC encourages community especially women and adolescent age group for their fundamental rights as well as their duties to the society. Its prominence for the work on single women. Which promote to raise voice for their dignity and positive transformation towards society. Success case studies prove their recognition, unity & strength. Govt. of Jharkhand also recognizes this category of women and put as” Women lives in Distress” and passed by previous Govt. But due to unstable Govt. can’t implement it effectively.
SHARC also run a School Shaheed Bhagat Singh Public School registered under RTE (Right To Education Act.) and 25% children admitted for free education (expanses born by Govt.). But system not running smoothly.
Organization experience regarding works on the issues raised under our sister organization ENSS (Ekal Nari Sashakti Sangathan), Jharkhand. The CSOs (Civil society organization, who are closely working with women community have a significant role in bringing about total social transformation. Their cooperation and justified issues helps single women to fight for their cause. Organization experienced that land & property is the root cause of all grief of single women. So, organization priorities are land and property rights as well as health issues of the target community.
For single women it is difficult to access their rights and power, so organization adhere hands with JHALSA ( Jharkhand State Legal Services Authority) to organize legal awareness camps and by the cooperation of Hon. Jharkhand High Court and Judicial officers of DLSA (District Level Service Authority) share knowledge of laws related to them.

Empowering the single women by strengthening their Association for re-cognition of a state level organization for minimizing the vulnerability of other single women in Jharkhand state.
To develop as well as enhance the capacity and quality of leadership of the single women’s association, so that they are able to solve the social and economic problems of the community.
To start a movement of empowered single women to get access over resources, to access and reform state and national policies and schemes, projects, Acts, laws and governance systems of government through lobbying and advocacy.
To build a wide spread and deeply-rooted strong single women’s organization to work for low-income rural and urban single women.
To organize single women to work, to bring about change to better their lives. To build leadership among single women so that these women leaders may support large numbers of single women to identify their problems and find just solutions.

To being critical awareness among the people on education, environment health, gender, cultural heritage, PRI and ensure their participation to accelerate the development process for sustainability to promote the people’s knowledge and human values, live love affections, brother hood, co-operation, mutual understanding secularism, gender, equality and fight against inequality.
To revive and promote the role of women and youths in decision making & natural resource management. To rebuild the system of community control over resources.
